Relax! Take time to understand the personalities and preferences of your kids before you dive in. There are so many resources around. Don't be tempted to use something just because it came highly recommended.

I am homeschooling my daughter who is in 6th grade. I also have a son in 4th grade, but he is still in public school for now. They both did the summer program at CHEP during this past summer though.
Thanks for helping me figure out how to sign up for CHEP Connect.
My kids are involved in Awana already. Again, at our church so the friend issues is still the same. :) That is another part of my hesitation to join CBS. My kids already have bible "homework" each week. I hate to give them so much work that they end up not wanting to do any of it. KWIM?
Thanks again for your input. You are helping me think through options. :)
Thank you for the info. on the bible study. I just heard recently that Mariners had a good group of homeschoolers. They started coming to the skate day in Fountain Valley. I know that there is also a community bible study at Calvery Baptist. I keep thinking about it but I hesitate to loose that school morning. Do you school in the afternoon on bible study day?
Did you know that OChomeschooling.com has been online since 2001?
